Welcome to Dividend On Fire, where the art (and science) of selling options come to life! Why is it called Dividend On Fire? It’s a fair question, of course, and as much as I like the name it also serves as a reminder that selling options is about creating our very own manufactured dividend (a synthetic dividend if you will). Most companies that pay dividends pay in the region of around 3-4%. But by selling options we are able to light the fuse and juice our synthetic dividends to about 12-24% annually! Hence the name, Dividend On Fire!
